How do you know when you are in love? When it is 'through your eyes', when 'there is only happiness', when 'the moon and stars are shining for you. This feeling of being consumed with ecstasy, is an intense feeling that can drive a person to extremes in order to stay in love. However, what people do not realize about this intense love they feel, is that it can lead them into dangerous territory that may even result in death. In search of the ultimate love, a man named Clint falls into depression when his college sweetheart leaves him. In a desperate attempt to win her back, he uses a campus drug called Everlust in order to create feelings of euphoria so strong, that she will return to him. However, it is implied that the drug has an unexpected side effect when he takes it again in an effort to force himself on her. In less than six months his condition deteriorates from an energetic young man to a serious medical condition with multiple organ failure and possible death. When he is rescued by an Indian doctor, she helps him discover that Everlust causes brain damage and eventual death by not only destroying the central nervous system, but the brain itself. She shows him how to treat himself with herbs which weaken his cerebral function while also strengthening his heart. This treatment helps him recover, allowing him to live a healthy life for many more years. After years of being away from the one he loves, Clint goes to find her. He meets her again after seeing an article about an ancient Indian healing village where she lives. He attempts to persuade her to leave the village where she is staying, but she tells him that She cannot leave because Everlust has left her body, but unfortunately she describes it as being 'inside' her. She states that Everlust has destroyed her brain, but that it continues to live through her. That is because Everlust floods the brain with dopamine which means that all other messages are no longer able to get through. It becomes a consuming craving which drives his need to be near his love at all times. It has become her own personal tyrant. Unaware that his love is living in this state, Clint decides to use it again in an attempt to save his love. When he visits the village where she lives, he sees her in the distance and rushes towards her. However, he fades into the distance when she turns around and walks away. It is revealed that after an Indian doctor helped him, she moved back to India to live in what was left of their home village where Everlust had taken root many years prior when they were young teens. She spent much of her time meditating and taking plants which would help weaken theictive power of Everlust. cfa1e77820
